![]() But in the end, you can see when Claire dies, and he and Prophet fight, he somehow gains a shit ton of confidence and goes straight into the heat of the battle and steals a CELL VTOL. That's why he's so cranky throughout the game. In his mind, the nanosuit was everything, it made him God. Psycho not using them boils down to the simple fact that he doesn't know any of this. So over time their are enough nanites that you may not even need your suit for all this. The nanites enter your body and replace your human cells. One last thing, do you know how the nanosuit repairs your body when your health goes down. Bond, maybe? I really wouldn't sweat this stuff. After that, they will form an 'integrated protective layer with your skin', 'a system that actually responds to your body's biochemical systems in real time'. They have to be precision furled and fine tuned for response, and then hung on an all alloy frame chassis for integrity loading. These are just the sheets that we make the suit muscle from. Worker-well, actually, it isn't quite that simple. Heavy too you say I'm going to wear this stuff over my whole body? At the same time he is also shown to still have night vision.Īdditionally, in the comics, there's a conversation between Hargreaves lab worker and Lawrence Barnes about the nanosuit material-īarnes-it's like silk but cold. Then he somehow unnoticed sat in the chair even though the CELL soldiers had night vision. But right after that he had night vision without goggles and was also running at more than twice the speed with which the CELL bastards were running. Not much is known about him, but we do know he was with the Raptor team when O'Neil was Nomad.įirst of all, he jumped up to the vent. The third dog tag could be the sixth soldier seen in the picture shown in Crysis 3. Seems like he bonded with his suit to a level too.Įdit: Nomad's dog tag is never shown. Also in the end of Crysis 3, Psycho also seemed to have his nanosuit powers. They left the boat shortly after to give Hargreave the intel they had. Prophet had Nomad's dog tag because Psycho was the one who saw Nomad's body in the end, INTACT, and he left the body because he was really low on health himself but took the dog tag. I suspect just like with Crysis 3, in the end when Prophet bonds with the suit, Nomad bonded with his suit. Also nobody at that time knew that the nanosuit can make a dead man alive and bond with the human cells so deeply. Hopefully the remaster is an indication that they’ll be bringing it back, and more in line with 1’s design, but who knows. It’d be amazing to see this series make a comeback like DOOM because I think it genuinely has the potential to be amazing, but who knows if it’ll ever get the love and attention it needs. With all that being said, I’m not sure why this series didn’t become a giant, though I guess you could contribute it to the course taken in future games. This isn’t even taking into consideration vehicles or using the environment to take down enemies. Personally, my favorite thing to do is pick a few off from afar, then slowly creep up to their position and then run in with maximum armor, while having a shotgun equipped and just blasting them down, maybe throw in a grenade for good measure. You can go pretty basic and just rely on cover or you can cloak to lose their sight, then reposition yourself quickly with maximum speed and flank the enemy. Once you get into combat, assuming you don’t just assassinate everyone or sneak pass them, it’s pretty flexible. It’s quite fun to sneak around enemy camps and stalk them, while cloaked and getting a feel for area before striking. Though I’ve only made it to the second mission of the first one, I’m really enjoying the gameplay. ![]()
